980 nm C Mount Laser Diode , 3 watt CoS Package Single Emitter Diode Laser

LDM-0980-003W-*4 series packaged single emitters are Fabry-Perot cavity semiconductor lasers based on Quantum-well epitaxy and ridge waveguide structure design. HTOE packaged single emitters provide excellent reliability and performance. Center wavelength includes 635nm, 650nm, 670nm, 785nm, 808nm, 830nm, 9xxnm and 1064 nm. Package designs include TO mounts, CoS mounts, C-mounts and F-mounts. Provide beam shaping services like fast-axis compression according to customer demands.

Quantum well means that the vertical variation of the electron's wavefunction, and thus a component of its energy, is quantized. The efficiency of a quantum well laser is greater than that of a bulk laser because the density of states function of electrons in the quantum well system has an abrupt edge that concentrates electrons in energy states that contribute to laser action.

4. Laser diodes are ESD sensitive device, anti-static measures should be prepared. Before pick up the case, make sure you get a good grounding condition, otherwise the laser tube will be easily to breakdown by the static electricity, resulting in the laser tube failure. Wear anti-static wrist strap when working with the laser.
